The founding team transferred the top-tier technology and more than 20 years of scientific research experience in metabolomics from Germany to Shenzhen, China, and is committed to upgrading the ProfMet metabolomics R&D platform. We are dedicated to combine high-quality human metabolome data with AI advances to speed up the innovation of metabolomic IVD and integrate personalized care into the standard-of-care.

Chairman
Junyuan Hu, PhD

Dr. Hu holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of British Columbia, Canada.He was one of the first batch of experts of the “Thousand Talents Program” of China, but also the Chairman of Shenzhen Beike Biotechnology Co., Ltd, and the director of Shenzhen Beike Cell Engineering Institute. On June 2011, he initiated the establishment of Chinese national stem cell and regenerative medicine industry technology innovation strategic alliance and was elected as the first vice Chairman of the union. In 2012, he was invited to initiate the preparation of the Boao Forum for Asia World Life Science Forum.He is also the Vice Chairman of China National Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Industry Technology Strategic Innovation Alliance, the executive director of Regenerative Medicine Technology Committee of China Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Association, the vice president of Shenzhen International Economic Promotion Association, the visiting professor of Department of Surgery of Chinese University of Hong Kong, the visiting professor of Shanghai Cardiovascular Institute of Fudan University.

Yan Li, PhD

Dr. Li earned her PhD in Biochemistry from Max Planck Institute for Molecular Plant Physiology, Germany. She has been engaged in mass spectrometry-based metabolomics research and translational applications. Her focus in healthcare big data, keen marketing insights and pioneered R&D concepts, facilitated the establishment of Metanotitia Inc in 2018. She has localized and upgraded the German-oriented advanced mass spectrometry-based  metabolomics technology. Dr. Li was the driving force behind Metanotitia's team formation, laboratory construction, technical development, clinical trials, product commercialization, and overall operation and management.

Gang Bai, PhD

Dr. Bai is one of the directors in Metanotitia. As a renowned expert in corporate strategy, he has a PhD in management from Renmin University of China, and is a professor of EMBA at Shenzhen Institute of Renmin University. He has worked as a strategy expert consultant in several famous enterprises in China, specializing in organizational capacity building. His main research areas include strategy and organizational change, business unit transformation, process reengineering and supply chain management, marketing strategy, planning and budget management, and human resource management.

Senior Research Scientist
Li Liu, PhD

Dr. Liu earned her PhD in Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of Göttingen, Germany. After returning to China in 2020, she studied on the anti-tumor mechanism of small molecule drugs at the Southern University of Science and Technology. She has rich research experience in metabolomics, proteomics and lipidomics, and specializes in target screening, identification, and biological function elucidation. She has solid management skills in R&D project design, literature research and project implementation.

He Wen, PhD
Dr. Wen received his Ph.D. from Seoul National University in 2015. After returning to China, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the School of Medicine of Shenzhen University, and joined Metanotitia as a Senior Research Scientist in 2022. He has applied metabolomic techniques in tumor metabolism researches, including the analysis of fundamental metabolic pathways, the detection of toxic markers, the diagnosis of diseases, the screening of potent inhibitors, and has produced high-caliber scientific research findings.
Senior Algorithm Engineer
Shuqi Yu, PhD
She is a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a member of the Institute for Data Science (IFDS), focusing on applied probability and statistics, especially modeling and algorithm design in the biological field. After joining Metanotitia in 2023, she is responsible for the application of artificial intelligence in the field of metabolomics and the implementation of algorithms, providing theoretical support for high-quality data analysis.

Linxia Song, PhD
Linxia earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry at University of South Florida. She is skilled in mass spectrometry instrumentation, method development and pharmaceutical R&D. She focused on proteomic and lipidomic analyses using LC-MS.

Yun He, PhD
Dr. He graduated from the Department of Food Science and Engineering at the National University of Singapore. Her research focuses mainly on using metabolomics as a means to reveal microbial safety control and spoilage regulation mechanisms in aquatic products. In 2023, she joined Metanotitia as a Research Scientist, where she primarily focuses on promoting and implementing metabolomics technology in environmental agriculture and food.

Jing He
She graduated from Wuhan University with a major in Pharmacy. With 14 years of experience in product marketing and project operation, she has been actively involved in the biomedicine and molecular diagnostic industries. Throughout her career, she has gained significant expertise in project planning, product design, team building, marketing promotion, and resource integration. She played a crucial role in the IPO of a startup company in her previous position. Her exceptional execution power and strategic thinking have contributed to her success.

Yingjian Lin
Having graduated from Wuhan University with a major in Pharmacy, he has accumulated extensive experience in the fields of medical big data, artificial intelligence, molecular diagnostics, and biopharmaceuticals. Throughout his career, he has worked for renowned companies such as Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Ltd., Mega Genomics Ltd., and Digital China Medical Technology Co., Ltd., all of which are Fortune 500 companies or technology unicorns. He has actively participated in significant national projects that focus on specific diseases within the realm of medical big data. His expertise lies in project operations and he possesses comprehensive abilities in this regard. One of his key strengths is his proficiency in identifying and addressing customer needs, enabling him to drive the development of market-oriented products within his team.

1. Project Establishment

Samples are required to be transferred on dry ice while the temperatures are tracked throughout the transportation.

7. Data Analysis

Even facing large sample sizes, our experts still can provide the most accurate annotation and the most comprehensive analytics with the proprietary database UlibMS and processing tool Spectronaut.
